Thailand's Department of Export Promotion plays a key role in developing the competitiveness of the local manufacturers realizing their potentials to serve as a production base for exports. The Department is responsible to develop and perform activities that promote trade and increase the competitiveness of the export sector and Thailand’s exporter group, for instance, the expansion of production bases overseas.

By supporting Thailand’s exporter community, the Department helps channeling information on markets and products to the producers, and providing linkage to overseas buyers.
