Participation in Trade Missions

The Department of Export Promotion recognizes the importance of close cooperation and relations in international trade as one of the primary forces behind the growth of exports. As a result, top priority is given to maintain continuity in pursuing and intensifying trade missions, which include the following :

Incoming Trade Missions :

An Incoming trade mission is composed of representatives from the pubic and private sectors, business entrepreneurs, importers and other parties concerned. The objective of these missions is to meet and explore the possibilities of entering into trade negotiations with local Thai manufacturers, exporters and business entrepreneurs. As part of the programme, the mission team also pays a visit to the Department of Export Promotion. This provides the forum for highlighting the work and activities of the Department and to discuss trade-related issues as well as introduces the mission to the Thailand Export Mart.
