Thaitrade.com, Thailand’s official B2B E-marketplace, arranged a business matching for Hong Kong’s major buying agent and 16 Thai exporting companies who are Thaitrade.com’s members on April 10, 2012 at the Department of International Trade Promotion. Main products of interest were rice and canned tuna while instant drinks, noodle, sunflower oil, sesame oil as well as canned and instant baby food gained much attention.
The meeting generated immediate order of Thai Hom Mali Rice for one company and other 3-5 exporters are in the process of bargaining and product sample and information request which will take approximately three months to close deals.
