The company was a joint venture between Saha Pathanapibul Co., Ltd. and the Lion Corporation (Japan), 2 giants consumer product company. Company established in 1969 with the machinery and technological know-how from its Japanese partner. In just few short years, the Lion brand became a household name, as the company’s products found themselves in more and more homes across the country.

With this additional investment, Lion Corporation (Thailand) Ltd. was able to produce a wider choice of consumer products, which satisfied both the local and global markets. As well as supplying the domestic market, the company also exports products to the Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Srilanka, Bangladesh, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan,  Nepal, Mongolia, Libya, Maldives, Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia and Russia.
