Rubia Industries Limited, established in 1951 by a German-Swiss entrepreneur and a subsidiary of the listed Berli Jucker Public Company Limited, has been perceived as a renowned and reliable contract manufacturer and exporter of soap, cosmetics and confectionery of Thailand.
Today Rubia maintains around 500 employees at three separated factories with the head office is located on Samutprakarn province. Rubia manufactures three product categories – soap, cosmetics and confectionery – under license for leading international brands such as Johnson & Johnson, Avon, Dettol, Nevia and Sugus. Currently, the majority of the company’s products are supplied to the local market with an increasing proportion being exported to countries throughout the Asian region. With successful certification to the ISO 9001:2000 standard, Rubia fully expects to increase its export volume to new markets around the world.
