The Siam Tin Food Products Co.,Ltd. was established in 1983 with an initial registered capital of 20 million baht. Three years later it started to process canned seafood for export with a small labor force of 20 working in a factory on a 22-rai plot of land.
With strong joint efforts and commitments made by the workers and the executives, the company boosted sales volume of quality products and introduced new products in different shapes and forms to the market. In 1992, it launched frozen seafood to world markets as a result of constant investment expansions.
At present, ST has raised its registered capital to 100 million baht, increased the work force to 1,500, and acquired a total of 70-rai plot of land to expand the factory.
