SAFSA Seminar and SAFSA Thailand Mill Members Tour
At this annual largest fashion fair in ASEAN, BIFF&BIL2012, a number of trade activities are planned. Among them is a trade seminar by the SAFSA program: Apparel Sourcing in Southeast Asia through the Source ASEAN Full Service Alliance (SAFSA) Model".
The seminar will be held on Wed. 27 June 2012 at Jupiter Room, Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok. SAFA members and public are welcome.
SAFSA is an innovative program that forms alliances between ASEAN-based fabric mills and garment manufacturers and provides them the opportunity to develop strategic sourcing relationships with some of the world’s best global apparel brands. As a member of SAFSA, a manufacturer can take their business to the next level by establishing lucrative partnerships with leading apparel brands from the US, Europe, S. America, Mexico and Japan. SAFSA customers include: VF, MUJI, Max Mara, Debenhams, Guess, Komar, Macy’s, MANGO, Polo, etc.
To coincide with BIFF& BIL 2012, the SAFSA team is inviting SAFSA members to participate in the “SAFSA Thailand Mill Members Tour”, during June 26-29, 2012. Six Thai based fabric mill members will be opening their doors and welcoming buyers and representatives from garment factories to tour their facilities. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the new technologies being employed by these factories and their new designs and fabrics.
